Meet José Manuel Almuzara
José Manuel Almuzara Pérez (chartered architect, COAC Barcelona) is a Gaudí scholar and one of the leading international voices on Antoni Gaudí. Since 1992 he has presided over the Association for the Beatification of Antoni Gaudí, devoting more than three decades to sharing the human, architectural and spiritual dimension of the genius behind the Sagrada Família. He is the author of the essay “Gaudí, the Architect of the Soul”.
He is ambassador of the Gaudí Project for Rancagua (Chile) and of the Sanctuary and Viewpoint of Our Lady of Vidawasi (Cusco, Peru), where he chairs the architectural committee; patron of Amici di Gaudí Bellinzona (Switzerland) and collaborator of The Gaudí Research Institute, based at the Colonia Güell.
